Welcome to the Educators Retired Club of The Villages website!
We meet the second Tuesday of every month, except June, July, & August, 1:30 PM, at the Canal Street Recreation Center. Our club is social in nature and supportive of local school children. It is open to anyone living in The Villages who has had a career in education or an education related field. Meetings are informative and fun including annual "field trips." Annual dues are $10.00.
Once you become a member we hope that you will create a Member Profile which other club members can read and enjoy. We encourage you to get involved with the club by volunteering to assist with our programs and activities, which will make your membership and personal connections with other members all the more meaningful. ER CLUB SHIRTS ARE NOW AVAILABLE!
Show your pride in your profession and your club membership! Specially designed tee shirts and polo shirts are available with our ER Club logo from Custom Apparel at their Southern Trace and Middleton locations. The shirts are available in a variety of colors, styles and fabrics. It is suggested that you go in person to choose your shirt, as there are many options. Just tell them that you are ordering a shirt for the Educators Retired Club-they have our logo on file.The cost is approximately $30.The Club does not benefit financially from the sales-it is just a fun way to show support and advertise the Club to fellow Villagers!

HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED WHAT HAPPENS BEHIND THE SCENES OF YOUR FAVORITE SHOWS? JOIN US ON A GUIDED 2-HOUR WALKING TOUR OF ALL ASPECTS OF SHOW PRODUTION AND THEATRICAL TECHNOLOGIES. THIS TRIP IS OPEN TO 2026 ER CLUB MEMBERS BY RESERVATION ONLY. No walk-ins.
If you have reserved your spot, please be aware of the following details:
Meet at the main entrance to The Sharon at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, April 29. Check in with Toba Knobel.
For safety reasons, wear closed-toed shoes only, no exceptions
Fully accessible for those with mobility concerns
